Debra Ann's Story
I live in Old Ocean / Sweeny, Tx. now.. On June 07, 2013 I married my Fiance' of 7 yrs. , William "Pete" Bridges .. I have four amazing children Robert DeWayne Lee (49 yrs..old): Rebecca Diane Lee Tubbs (45 yrs..old): Calvin Scott Lee (33 yrs. old): & Deidre LaShea Goodson ( 33 yrs.. old); I have 14 amazing grandchildren Tracie Michele Lee, Jared Wayne Lee , Lindsey Michele Lee, Mason Lee, Adam Lee, Ian Lee, James Robert Allred , Staci Nicole Allred , Dannielle Leann Allred , Zachary Scott Lee , Avery Lee , Haylee Marie Lee, Avery Lee, Paizley Lynn Goodson , Teigan Shane Robinson.. Step-GrandChildren: Natalie Robinson, Jasmine Hall, Kollin Hall, & Kason Hall .. And I have one step son , Jared Thomas Bridges.. I have two babies up in heaven due to miscarriages ( David Antoine Lee & Baby Lee ) My children and my grandchildren are my Heros... I am retired LPN / LVN by my own choice, but have been an LPN / LVN SINCE 1982 .... I spend majority of my time designing & making jewelry, playing music (on my guitar, keyboard, fiddle, flute, banjo and lap harp., sketching & painting (with acrylics or oil paints on wood or canvas) or singing (in my church choir & Kareoke)..and playing Golf with my Husband.. ives a few hours from me in Hewitt , Tx .. Marie is back in Albuquerque now, .. hopefully I will be able to get together with friends in the near future..May God in Heaven Bless and keep you all.. God has blessed me in so many ways... And one way was ... I survived the Sept. 13th, 2008 Hurricane Ike.. which devastated our community where we were living then in San Leon, Tx and surrounding areas of Kemah and Galveston Island.. We were about 40 minutes north east of Galveston Island, Tx.
Our Lord Jesus Christ is my #1 Hero.. My inspiration comes from Him.. My #2 Hero is my grandmother, Nora Viola Dumas McBroom, who passed away when I was 15yrs.old. She raised me until I was 12yrs. old at which time I moved from Louisiana, to Albuquerque to my Dad's. She was a 5'9" Choctaw Indian and French .. I called her Maw, for she was the only mom I had.. from three months old till I left to live with my Dad.. My Children/Step-Children and Grandchildren/Step-Grandchildren are my #3 Heros and I am very proud of them... I moved from San Leon, Tx on Dec. 23, 2009.. with My Fiance , Pete, to Angleton, Tx. About an hour southwest from where I lived in San Leon, Tx.. It's a good ways from the Gulf and Galveston Bay.. alot of land around us where we lived... we moved in Oct. 2011 to Brazoria, Tx.. And we moved from Brazoria, Tx in June of 2015 to Pledger, Tx.. And we moved from there in March of 2016 to where we live now in the Old Ocean, Tx / Sweeny, Tx . area, just off State Hwy. 35 ..
